New International School has a Saturday Program offering intensive classes in English or Mandarin Chinese on two Saturdays each month. The program is open to the wider community as well as to our current students.
The classes include skill-building activities in reading, writing, and speaking, as well as theme-based activities. The lessons are intended to be of value to either native or non-native speakers of each language. Children who are signed up for both classes will need to bring a boxed lunch.
Classes are scheduled on the following Saturdays: Feb 11, 25, March 3, 10, April 7, 21, May 12, 26, June 9, 23 . After that, a Chinese program has been added to the summer school options in addition to the English and Japanese ones we have had up to now.
If a lesson has to be cancelled on one of the above Saturdays for any reason, it will be rescheduled for an alternative Saturday.
